Spanish Translations for visa applications for Spain – Toronto

We can help you with your translations for your visa application. We are a translation agency based in Toronto, but we can send your original translations through all Canada, via regular mail or Xpress Post.

The documents we usually translate for the consulate of Spain are: Spain flag

  • RCMP police clearance certificate (the one with fingerprints)
  • Doctor’s notes
  • Bank statements
  • Academic documents

Our translations are accepted by the consulate of Spain in Toronto and you can bring them to your appointment at the consulate. The translationos don’t need to be apostilled, only your original documents.

Here are images of the types of documents we usually traslate:

Police Clearance for the Spanish Visa
Doctor's note for Spanish Visa
Apostille Translation - Global Affairs in Canada - Spanish

Your documents in English usually have to be apostilled before you bring them to your appointment at the consulate. The consulate will let you know which documents you’ll need to translate, as the documentation is different depending on the type of visa you are applying for.

  • The RCMP police clearance must be apostilled at Global Affairs in Ottawa. If you bring to your appointment the RCMP certificate apostilled by a provincial authority such as ODS, the consulate won’t accept it and they will give you another appointment in 10 days, so you can bring the correct apostilled RCMP certificate.

Take into account that the turnaround time for getting the RCMP police clearance apostilled at Global Affairs can take a month or more – regardless of what their website says.

  • The doctor’s note has to be notarized (certified copy) first, before you can apostille it. We can help you with that, we charge $50 for a certified copy. We just need to see the original document. The doctor’s note can be apostilled at a provincial authority, such as ODS in Toronto.
